A rare sight,  fleet of Cessna 172s and Diamon DA-42s were seen via ‘flightRadar24’ heading toward Auburn and Tuskegee ahead of Hurricane Dorian. The fleet belongs to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with a total of near 70 aircraft.

The Category 5 storm is already pummelling the Bahamas and is beginning to turn North, heading up toward Florida, Georgia and the Carolinas. According to report, there has been catastrophic damage with winds up to 185mph and as many as 13’000  houses severely damaged or destroyed in Bahamas.

Forecasters hoped that Dorian may spare the U.S a direct hit but will move close to Florida east coast. Mandatory evacuations were underway in some parts of Florida, coastlines of South Carolina and Georgia. More than 1 million to be evacuated
